- After creating an automated forecast you can select a number of days to manage manually.
- Click on the hamburger in the top right and choose “Settings”.
- Change the “Manual Forecast” setting to the number of days you want to manage manually e.g. 30 days.
- Click “Save”.
- Return to the forecast page.
- You will notice a section of the forecast is now represented in yellow. Those are the records that you can manage manually. Options for managing these items include changing the
- date
- amount
- description
- These manual records are not overwritten by automated forecasts. You can of course run an automated forecast after a manual one to take advantage of both the short term and long term forecasting features of cashbucket.
About Us
Whilst running a previous business, the founders of cashbucket did what everyone else does, they ran their financial models, expenses, and revenue forecasts in Excel. However, as the company grew, so too did the complexity of these spreadsheets leading to a large amount of manual effort, errors, and a lack of clarity. They developed cashbucket to ensure companies are able to thrive and not fail due to financial complexity.
